The transmission-line enclosures of the PMC Fact-3 (left, $9500/pair, including stands) and Fact-8 ($9999/pair) help the speakers produce amazingly agile, extended, pitch-perfect bass that belies the speakers' small stature. PMC designed and manufactured the 1" tweeter and 5 1/2" woofers used for both models. The speakers feature rear-mounted high- and low-frequency contour controls that allow owners to tailor the output to the rooms in which the speakers will be used.
