Rocky Mountain Audio Fest 2010 Hot Product

Musical Fidelity electronics were part of a
full-blown two-channel system with Verity Audio speakers, all of which produced terrific
sound. However, tucked away in the same room was a much more modest system that used a
computer as the source and featured some new products. Musical Fidelity's V-Link (center,
$169) is a 24-bit/96kHz-compatible asynchronous USB-to-S/PDIF converter -- just the
product to connect to the new M1DAC (left, $699), a digital-to-analog converter that
upsamples to 192kHz. Completing this personal-listening system was the new M1PHA ($799)
class-A headphone amp. |
