adia's new m330 ($6000) is an
integrated music server with onboard DAC and both balanced and single-ended analog
outputs, so it can be connected directly to an existing audio system. It provides access
to locally stored and Internet-based digital music at up to 24-bit/192kHz resolution via
its 1TB internal hard drive and integrated interfaces to services such as Pandora,
SiriusXM, Spotify, Rhapsody, TIDAL and TuneIn. USB and eSata ports allow for connection of
additional external drives, and cloud access is available for file backup and
synchronization for multiple units. The M330's operating system and music player run from
an internal solid-state hard drive ensuring fast response, no noise and durability.
The m330 can be controlled via iPhone, iPad or Android
apps, a web browser, or a remote control, and it is also compatible with many home
automation systems. Of course, Wadia stresses the m330's inherent compatibility with the
company's own 321 decoding computer and a315 or a340 amplifiers, "for a complete
system solution." |
