Previous Keith Monks cleaners used the same general procedure: a single-point suction wand similar to a tonearm, using a length of continuously replaced cotton thread as a spacer, removes cleaning fluid, dirt and dust revolution by revolution, storing the waste fluid in a separate reservoir. The Prodigy does the same but without the thread spacer, making for one less consumable, which Keith Monks Audio says "is simpler, easier and more effective." The Prodigy is also fitted with a multi-color lighting system to enhance visual appeal and "add another element of fun to the cleaning process." exception) together in a sustainable-bamboo, sculptured chassis with a significantly
smaller footprint than that of previous models. The Prodigy is the company's most
silent cleaner yet, but all models are "quiet enough to play a record and enjoy it
while cleaning another."
