The latest addition to Audio Research's GS series is the GSi75 ($18,000). Ostensibly a mid-power integrated amp, it is in reality a one-chassis analog and digital control center. It includes three single-ended analog inputs, including a moving-magnet/moving-coil phono stage that provides 45/62dB of gain, and three digital inputs. Its built-in DAC handles native DSD in addition to high-resolution PCM. Like other recent Audio Research amps, it uses KT150 output tubes to deliver its full rated output -- 75Wpc in this case.
