The NAS saw the introduction to the UK of the HiFiMan range of planar headphones and amplifiers, and the distributor also had a prototype of the HiFiMan EF-6. This is a switchable headphone amp, preamp and integrated amp with two sets of RCA inputs and one 3.5mm mini-jack. It’s class A up to 8 watts for the company's power-hungry "Maggies for ears" 'phones and class AB up to 20Wpc for speakers. Details are thin on the ground, but the price looks to be in the $1000 range.
