"I was wondering if youd ever do a review of . . . "

Marc,
It
has been some time since we last corresponded. Life has been busy with me. Nonetheless, I
think the season for me has changed, and I endeavor to return to one of my great passions
-- music and audio equipment. While visiting Vancouver, BC, I took the occasion to visit a
local dealer that featured Magico and Constellation Audio products. I was instantly
reminded why I love this thing of ours so much. The level of gratitude for the artistry
woven into the fabric of good music, and the effortless escapism which occurred
simultaneously, compelled me to figure out a way to finally retrieve my first love from
the coffin of oblivion to live once again. My system has been crated in storage for the
last six years, but perhaps its time to resurrect my system.

Ive
got world-class gear, based in no small part on your reviews and the gear that you own. As
such, there arent many reviewers whose professional opinion I hold in higher esteem
than yours. I was wondering, therefore, if youd ever do a review of Magico and/or
Constellation gear?

Before I answer your question, I want to encourage you to unpack your audio
system and set it up. You have quite a collection of components there, and I imagine they
all sound great together.
As
for what equipment I would review, I pretty much pick products now that interest me
sonically and in terms of the story I can tell. Time is finite, and I want to use mine
wisely -- both for me and TAB's readers. So I am choosy about what I will write
about, but I do consider any and all products that cross my path. -Marc Mickelson
