Your
piece on Vladimir Lamm truly touches the heart. You've given us readers a unique
insight into his humanity. I didn't know him at all, except for one occasion when our NY
dealer, Innovative Audio, put us together in the same room at the NY show and I worked
with him for a few days. His enthusiasm for LPs was obvious -- he proudly showed me each
and every one in his prized collection. They were like his babies and kept in mint
condition.
It
is sad that he passed away still relatively young, at 76. I hope Elina is doing well. I
met her at that show as well and saw how caring she was with Vladimir.
