Audio Note caps?

for the informative article on the sonic characteristics of
different capacitors. I also have an Audible Illusions 2D, and I am interested in
knowing the values of the four Audio Note capacitors you used. This information would be
much appreciated.

I'm
glad the article was useful. I used Audio Note KAISEI caps, 470uF 25V, to replace the
stock caps of the same values in the Modulus 2D preamps; I've added this info to my
article. Ken Stevens recommended Black Gates, but I couldn't find eight of that value. (My
technician also warned against replacing old caps with more old caps.) For my preamps,
those cathode bypass caps were covered in black shrink wrap, so it was impossible to see
the values without removing that first. -Marc Mickelson
