High End 2019 Hot Product

Long fascinated by the issues of supporting
his non-suspended turntables, Franc Kuzma (above left) has offered a range of solutions
over the years, but the latest looks like the most impressive.

The Kuzma Platis platforms use a laminated top plate and
machined aluminum base to create a load-rated, constrained-layer dissipation system by
sandwiching silicon and aluminum support elements. By varying the number and location of
the silicon/aluminum pads, users can optimize both compression and load distribution. The
Platis platforms come in two sizes -- 500mm/19 3/4" x 400mm/15 3/4" or 600mm/23
1/2" x 500mm/19 3/4", are fitted with leveling feet and cost 2500 and
3000, respectively. They should be available early in the third quarter of this
year. |
