Tucked away in the same modest cubicle it appears in for each High End show, Neodio, in addition to playing its stellar array of electronics, was showing, on static display, a forthcoming new amplifier, the HQA (High Quality Amplifier, £7500). The HQA is the first in a new line of lower-priced components, with the same schematics as Neodio's more expensive predecessors. The trickle-down products will feature casing similar in look as the standard Neodio line but without the luxurious billet-aluminum chassis and copper trim. The casing of the prototype was not finalized, however. The HQA will be followed by a new phono stage and DAC, both similar in price and styling.
