Gabi van der Kley-Rijnveld, head of Crystal Cable, introduced the Ultimate Dream speaker cables (€32,500/two-meter pair) at High End, to join the Ultimate Dream power cord launched at CES.

Like the power cord, the speaker cable uses six monocrystal silver conductors, but this time they are wound around an ultra-low capacitance, tubular Teflon core rather than a ground wire. Like all Crystal Cables, the Ultimate Dream is beautifully constructed and very flexible. Eagle-eyed cable watchers will have noticed the change from Furutech to Oyaide connectors on the Ultimate Dream power cord, and it’s a switch that carries over to the speaker cables, the pair on show carrying some beautiful, passivated silver-plated Oyaide spades.
