Wadia's beautiful clamshell design for the Intuition 01 has reached final production, with a price tag of €7500 in Europe ($8500 in the US) and slightly different specs than reported earlier. It combines a Wadia Delta SigMaster 32-bit/1.536MHz upsampling DAC that's DSD compatible with a 350Wpc class-D stereo amplifier. It comes in matte-black and silver finishes as standard; the mirror finish shown at CES will carry a price premium. The Intuition 01 has seven digital inputs, including USB plus two for RCA analog. We hope it sounds as good as it looks.
