High End 2012
Sometimes you run across
products at shows that you have no rational purpose in owning, yet the object is so unique
and carries such cachet that you find yourself asking, "Where can I get one of
those?" Such was the case after visiting a display of Nagra products. Labeled as
a Nagra SN. . . ,
. . .this tiny recorder was in
fact the later version -- the SNST-R. The original SN was developed for the Secret
Service at the direction of President Kennedy and certainly looked like a product straight
out of a James Bond movie. The SNST-R was developed much later as a proper stereo
recording device, and while it seems thoroughly vintage, it's available new for 1540. |
