Esoteric is prolific -- with new products at seemingly every show. This CES it's the D-07 digital-to-analog converter (bottom, $4800) and RZ-1 ($6000), which the company calls an "integrated music system." This means it's a CD and SACD player, an integrated amp, and a 32-bit digital-to-analog converter. All an owner needs to do is add speakers -- Esoteric's own sounded open and highly detailed -- and perhaps a turntable -- the RZ-1 has a moving-magnet phono stage as well. The D-07 has a host Esoteric's stock features (dual-mono construction, fully balanced circuit, upsampling, multiple digital filters, Word Sync connections) along with USB input.
