Westone bills its new ES5 ($950) as "the premier custom in-ear musicians' monitor," but its utility for serious personal listening is high, given its five drivers, three-way crossover and 25dB of ambient noise reduction. The ES5's specs are impeccable: 8Hz-20kHz frequency response, 120dB sensitivity and 20-ohm impedance. The ES5 will be available beginning June 28.
