Japanese electronics manufacturer Luxman has an immense product line, and its two headphone amps are overshadowed by its many other products. Above is the P-1u ($3000), a pure-class-A solid-state amp that has both XLR and RCA inputs. Its Only Distortion Negative Feedback circuit isolates noise and distortion from the musical signal and applies small amounts of negative feedback to suppress them. A few people who have extended experience with this mid-priced headphone amp praised it highly.

Luxman also offers the P-200 ($1500), a scaled-down headphone amp that's also fully class A.
